Overview

BuzzBUILT Software, LLC ("BuzzBID") is a Windows desktop application that is installed and operated within your organization's computing environment. Unlike Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms, the BuzzBID application, project databases, file storage, and network infrastructure are owned and managed by each customer.

Because the core BuzzBID application runs within your own environment, BuzzBID does not publish an application-wide uptime Service Level Agreement (SLA). Application availability depends on your organization's infrastructure, including:

  • Windows workstations
  • Windows Servers
  • SQL Server or SQLite databases
  • File storage
  • Network infrastructure
  • Internet connectivity
  • Identity providers (Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Active Directory, etc.)

While we cannot guarantee the availability of customer-managed systems, we do maintain availability objectives for the cloud services that BuzzBUILT directly operates.

The following services are operated and maintained by BuzzBUILT Software:

Availability Objective

BuzzBUILT uses commercially reasonable efforts to maintain 99.5% monthly availability for the hosted services listed above.

Availability is measured on a calendar-month basis and excludes scheduled maintenance, emergency maintenance, and circumstances outside of BuzzBUILT's reasonable control.


Scheduled Maintenance

Routine maintenance is periodically required to improve security, reliability, and performance.  Whenever reasonably possible:

  • Maintenance windows are announced in advance.
  • Notifications are posted on the BuzzBID Status Page.
  • Scheduled maintenance does not count against our availability objective.

Service Exclusions

The hosted services availability objective does not apply to service interruptions resulting from:

  • Scheduled or emergency maintenance
  • Customer workstation or Windows operating system issues
  • Customer-managed SQL Server or SQLite databases
  • Customer file servers or storage systems
  • Customer network, VPN, firewall, DNS, or Internet connectivity
  • Customer-managed Single Sign-On (SSO) providers
  • Third-party cloud provider outages, including:
    • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
    • Auth0
    • LicenseSpring
    • HubSpot
    • Microsoft Azure
    • Internet Service Providers (ISPs)
  • Natural disasters, cyberattacks, government actions, or other force majeure events

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for maintaining the health and availability of their own environment, including:

  • Windows workstations
  • Windows Servers
  • SQL Server or SQLite databases
  • File storage
  • Network infrastructure
  • Internet connectivity
  • Data backup
  • Disaster recovery procedures
  • Identity infrastructure when using customer-managed SSO

Support

Customers with an active BuzzBID subscription receive unlimited:

  • Technical Support
  • Product Updates
  • Customer Training
  • Knowledge Center Access

Reported issues are prioritized according to severity and business impact. Our team uses commercially reasonable efforts to respond promptly and restore hosted services as quickly as practical.
